We went shopping for a comfy bed for our boy. A generous donation was made that specified our buying a comfy bed for his sore body. He is learning to relax on the new bed. He prefers the leather couch with us on it however! Windsor had a gentle oatmeal bath yesterday. He was terrific. Windsor also met the vet yesterday and handled that like a trooper too. Honestly this boy has no reason to trust people but he does. He warms up quickly and takes comfort if I am there to "approve" the situation. He continues to be spectacular. Windsor is on leash and is able to manage the same rooms and quarters as our foster boy Duke. We are not allowing them to go nose to nose, but rather just become familiar with each other. Our 2 other dogs are always away during these times. We never push itneraction with our foster dogs. It takes time and trust. This is where many people run into trouble. It is best to go slow and follow their lead.

I cannot tell you how wonderful it is to see this boy warm, cared for and loved. Thanks so much to you and Marley's for seeing him worthy of the new life you're giving him. My husband and I thought we'd never know his fate when we called Animal Control that day to report his condition...all we could do was pray. Bless you! And thanks so much for the videos ...hearing the snores while he got his ears and belly rubbed are the most wonderful sounds ever!
